The Role:
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and scale our restaurant partner network. You will own the full commercial cycle from acquiring new restaurant partners to activating and retaining them — while leading a team of 10 (6 direct, 4 indirect reports). This is a senior individual contributor and people manager role with direct impact on company revenue and market share.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 direct and 4 indirect sales and account management professionals.
- Drive acquisition of new restaurant and food business partners across assigned territories.
- Own partner onboarding, activation, and performance KPIs (GMV, order volume, take rate).
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key restaurant chains and independent operators.
- Design and execute territory sales plans, forecasts, and weekly pipeline reviews.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop partner-facing campaigns, promotions, and subscription program activations (Baboon+).
- Monitor competitor activity and recommend strategic responses.
- Report directly to the CEO with clear metrics, insights, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in food tech, FMCG, hospitality, or marketplace platforms.
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven mindset comfortable with CRM tools, dashboards, and KPI reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in Albanian and English.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the food delivery or on-demand economy.
- Familiarity with the Albanian restaurant & shops market (HORECA).
- Experience with subscription or loyalty program sales.
