Job Description

Become part of our fast-moving team as a Cloud Services Engineer!

The main aim of this position is to take senior-level, hands-on responsibility for the organisation’s cloud services environment, keeping it secure, dependable, efficient in cost, and subject to ongoing improvement. The role oversees the management, development, and maintenance of services across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and the Cisco Meraki environment, while enabling modern working practices and strong internal technology services.

What will you be doing?

The Cloud Services Engineer carries responsibility for the reliability, performance, protection, and continuous enhancement of essential cloud and network platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Cisco Meraki, which support everyday business operations. This role also helps manage a small on-premises domain controller setup as it moves toward a fully cloud-based model, including the planning and controlled execution of decommissioning work with minimal risk. In partnership with internal stakeholders and suppliers, the position makes sure the platform landscape is properly governed, suitably automated, and run according to modern best practices, including preparedness for backup and disaster recovery.

Role Overview

This role contributes directly to Babble’s commercial results by producing revenue insight that is clear, dependable, and useful for action.

As part of the Revenue Operations team, the position is tasked with building and maintaining reporting that gives the business visibility into revenue performance, including bookings, Terminations, and the sales pipeline.

The role collaborates closely with Sales Leadership, Customer Success, Marketing, and Commercial Finance so the business maintains a consistent and dependable understanding of revenue performance and future expansion. It also contributes to the preparation and validation of commission calculations, making sure incentive payments follow agreed compensation plans and are backed by accurate revenue data.

By combining strong analytical ability with effective cross-functional cooperation, the Revenue Operations and Commercial Analyst supports better revenue predictability and helps strengthen commercial decision-making throughout the organisation.

  • Sustain and enhance reporting in Salesforce and Power BI so commercial data remains accurate and easy to access.
  • Detect risks, gaps, and opportunities related to revenue results, pipeline quality, forecast precision, and customer retention.

Pipeline and Forecast Analysis

  • Deliver analysis of pipeline health, highlighting possible risks and opportunities within the sales pipeline.
  • Assist forecasting activities through validation of data, analysis of trends, and performance insight.
  • Work alongside Sales leadership to improve pipeline discipline and strengthen the dependability of forecast submissions.
  • Partner with sales teams to promote consistent CRM use and preserve pipeline hygiene.

  • Keep commission calculation files, supporting schedules, and audit trails accurate so payouts remain consistent, transparent, and aligned with company policy.
  • Work together with Sales Leadership and Commercial Finance to review commission queries, confirm booking inputs, and resolve discrepancies when needed.

Commercial Finance Support

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Finance team in analysing revenue performance.
  • Help with revenue bridge analysis and the monitoring of financial performance.
  • Provide support for scenario modelling and revenue trend analysis when required.
  • Ensure that operational revenue data used by Revenue Operations is aligned with the financial reporting used by Finance.
