A successful Handyman candidate will have good overall knowledge of all trades:

• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Tile
• Electrical

Proper Equipment

You have the tools to perform most jobs and know what tools are needed to be effective across multiple trades.

Trouble Shooting Skills

Must be a quick thinker and have the ability to examine a problem situation and come up with a resolution in a prompt and professional manner.

Excellent Communication Skills

Must be able to communicate with Management, Office Personnel, Fellow Employees, Homeowners, Property Managers and Commercial Customers.

Presentable

• Clean-Cut appearance

Other

• Looks around the property and communicates to the customer, things you could repair or things that our company can handle.
• Takes time to earn the customer’s confidence and then inquires about additional work that could be performed.

Handyman Responsibilities

• Perform all types of quality handyman repairs
• Carpentry
• Drywall repair
• Painting
• Tile work
• Basic plumbing and electrical

Handyman Qualifications

• 3+ years of handyman experience
• Own truck or van and tools
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Excellent customer service skills
• Collaborative, optimistic, reliable
• Knowledgeable in multiple trades

Compensation: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.

Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name. Ace Handyman Services is a franchise network of Independently Owned and Operated Franchises. Ace Handyman Services’ work itself is often indoors in temperature-controlled environments, and is primarily of lighter-duty than new construction projects. There are Franchise Owners and Office Managers to assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative side of the business allowing our Craftsmen to focus on the tasks at-hand and provide our customers with professional services that delight our customers. Our Franchise Owners are successful, business-savvy individuals, who are ethical and treat their Staff like Family. The safety and well-being of TEAM members is a top priority. Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
